what age are you guys?

Postby nessieq » Sat Jan 31, 2004 8:14 pm

hey you guys, i hope you don't mind me asking, but i was wondering what age you all are, as it seems we have some young members (lie me, i'm 15) and some older ones (i'm not mentioing names.. lol) i tried to not be too specific in the age brackets, and remember, if you don't want to answer, ya don't have to! i only went up to 80 simply because i dont' have the time to sit here and type any more age groups in! have fun!

response so far seems to prove my point. you don't have to be any particular age to enjoy moya's music, unlike an awful lot of music nowadays. that, to me, is the mark of a great musician.

Nessieq. I agree totally with you. Good music has no age and music lovers too ! I turned 58 on 24 january and I feel very comfortable with new trends of contemporary, progressive music. In any case, the music, like Moya's and a few others (Enya, Loreena McKennitt) that brings us peace, quietness and positive energy to turn ourselves towards people, no matter the beliefs, creeds and anything else. So, young or less young, we all share something good by itself, the music and the lyrics merging hearts and souls  !

I voted for the 20-30 age bracket. I'm 21, right now, but will be 22 tomorrow. So, everyone can wish me a Happy Birthday tomorrow.

Just joking with you all. No worries about wishing me a happy birthday. Just being another year older, no big deal.

I am 20 years old, and its great to see that other fans of Moya
are my age as well  . The general age trend of Moya fans seems to be 20 - 30, with a couple of oldies in here as well :D .

Take a music bath once or twice a week for a few seasons, and you will find that it is to the soul what the water bath is to the body.

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

"How old should you be? You look no scientific to be school teacher, how old should you be?"
"I am one hundred and fifty years old, your majesty."
"In what year were you born?"
"Uh, 1712, your majesty."
"How many children you have?"
"Several."
"How many... grandchildren? Ha! I make better question than she make answer!"
Quoted from "The King and I" although I am pretty sure I messed it up! :D
Who knows how old I am! My best friend is fifty-three and she is convinced sometimes that I am older than her, although at other times she takes that back. :D
