Failte!

At the livetour of Norland Wind in Germany this week, where Noel and Padraig Duggan also belong to, I catched the ball on the bounce to interview the Duggans in terms of the release of their new "solo"-album "The Duggans & Friends: Rubicon" (also with Moya singing on it!).

In that interview they confirmed the actual album recording as well!
We discussed furthermore about topics like "live tour", "the future of Clannad" and other things.

The Interview will be online in both german and english language in the "Specials"-area of our german website http://www.clannad-news.de in the next days!

I heard that Clannad was making a new album since the released Two Horizons by Moya,I will wait with you all :P

Someone can translate this :

Noel und Padraig Duggan, Band-Mitglieder von Clannad und Onkel der Brennans, wandeln nach Moya Brennan, Pol Brennan und Enya ebenfalls auf Solo-Pfaden und haben jetzt ein erstes Album veröffentlicht.

Noel and Pádraig Duggan, members of Clannad and uncles of the Brennans' have made there first album, after Moya / Pól Brennan and Enya went before them.

Well as far as I know it has already been released in Ireland (though maybe I am wrong). I heard it being played on RnaG. This cd is worth getting I think; at least the songs I heard are really good. Maybe I can convince you when I tell you both Moya and Brídín have contributed to the album?!

I am looking forward to reading it. Any idea when you will be able to put it on the website?

Hi to all!

It's released, but the management has some problems to find a label for Europe...
At the moment they sell it on the Norland Wind-tour in Germany (Yeah, I got one 8) ) and in the future via the website Clannad.ie...

richard wrote:any one know if the duggans solo cd is worth getting?

Absolutely!! Some songs sung by Moya (!) and Bridin in the background sound like Clannad songs. Very similar! Great work!

mise wrote:I am looking forward to reading it. Any idea when you will be able to put it on the website?

Sorry, too much work and less time for private things :(
I think it will be online this weekend
