I've always thought and still think that the 'spirit child' in Isobella was a ghost and not a 'muse/inspiration'.

True, especially if you are a fan of Clannad's music from the 70s. If so, you would probably also like, Lunasa, Steeleye Span, the Bothy Band, or Planxty.
If you liked Clannad in the 80s, you would go for Blackmore's Night or Loreena McKennitt.
If you liked Clannad in the 90s, Mary Black or Sissel should fit the bill.
Personally, I liked Clannad in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, so I'll take all of the above!
