Searching Old Posts

Postby noodle » Tue Dec 05, 2006 11:03 am

Hi,

Forgive my naivety if the answer to this is straightforward!

I've been searching for an old post of mine - probably made around Nov/Dec 05. I've searched and searched but just can't find it. Are posts archived?

Specifically I posted the lyrics and translation to Moya's version of In Dulci Jubilo and I'd like to find them again - it was part of 'An Irish Christmas' topic.

Can anyone help?

Hi noodle

I believe that topics, if unused, do disappear after a little less than a year. If the topic you posted in has been used since you made that post...and something's telling me it has, because I remember the post, then you hopefully will be able to find it :) If not it may well be gone. I don't know if there is an archive (admin???) as a mod I certainly can't see one I'm afraid :(

Sadly, Grania's right, after approx a year topics drop off the forum - you MAY be able to find them in the WayBackMachine internet archive http://www.archive.org/index.php, but not all websites are in there, but it's worth a look.

Aw man! I'm trying to sing along and have forgotten one line and a couple of the translations.

I'll try and put them together again...

Thanks for the advice guys :)
