IM SO HAPPY!!!

Postby Nigel » Mon Feb 16, 2004 9:02 am

The other day i walked in to my local record shop. They sells stacks of old
singles and albums. Anyway i was in there for quite a while, and then all of sudden i found.

"THE TWO HORIZONS ALBUM SAMPLER"

Basically its got four of the tracks from the album. But i was so happy because i know its hard to get and it is perfect condition. And the best bit was, i paid 75p for it  . I told the bloke to keep the change from a pound  . Another Moya CD to my collection  .

75 pence!?!?!? Lucky sod, I got mine off Ebay for a few pounds, probably around a fiver.

Good CD though!

Why on earth the Finnish music lovers never get any samplers...? I haven't seen any around here, and as a collector I would be in cloud nine to have some rare material as well!! This isn't fair...

Show Me (Jakatta Mix), Bright Star, Show Me, and Tara. (Isn't it strange? - I don't even have the sampler yet, but I know the track listing.)

Gosh . . .

Postby Briannah » Thu Feb 19, 2004 6:44 am

Well, I'm just going to have to keep a look out for it! No, I'm afraid I still haven't gotten my hands on a copy of TH. *sigh of desperation* I wonder . . . has she released it in the United States yet? I'm never keen on that sort of thing, I'm afraid.

I think perhaps I might find an import. 8)

I voted for NO because I had never even heard of it, let alone buying/having it.

Nope, haven't got the sampler. No chance to find one here I guess  I've managed to find two singles of Máire (Perfect Time and Follow the Word) in the second hand record store which was quite amazing experience. I got one sampler and that's Loreena McKennitt's which I found from a record exhibition. As a collector I enjoy those rare bits as well :)

I have it - amazingly

Postby Grania » Mon Sep 06, 2004 5:07 pm

I got my copy of TH just before Christmas, and I freely (and humbly) admit that it was the first of Moya's solo albums I came across (I didn't actually know at the time that she did solo work  ) I also nearly knocked someone over in my haste to grab it when I realised what I was looking at! (More guilty consience). But I have never heard of a sampler, ever, sounds interesting though.
