I've got all of their albums, but the last one "In Blue" and the promotional tour was a big disappointment for me. So I'll certainly listen to it, but I reckon I will save the money. Sorry... but still they are cute

I may buy it.

I got into The Corrs at school about six months before they released their second album, I adored those. Then they covered "Dreams" and the UK went crazy for them, and their record company just ruined everything, they just went really commercial. Blue was a good album, had a lot of nice songs on it, I just cringe at all of these special edition releases of everything that they do - bugs me a bit.

I'll listen when I hear the new single, if I like it I may get the album, but only time will tell.

Barry.

For sure!

Oh yeah, I'm definitely getting it! :D

I really enjoy their sound, especially with their being a family act. And I like the fact that although they've a modern tint to all of their songs, you can still distinctly hear the Irish influence interweaved throughout the melodies. Their choice of instruments are exquisite.

Corrs

I have heard only some pieces by the Corrs, and they sounded a bit too electric for me so I prefer The Chieftains rather than he Corrs, sorry...

I went to see the Corrs in The Point Theatre in Dublin for a new years eve celebration. I have to say that after standing for hours in the pit and putting up with some really bad support acts I was really in need of a very strong act to make it all worth while. I went home dissapointed. I later heard that the band had been hit by a flue that week and they were in a bad way that night. So I forgave them for that.

Since then I have been watching their career and if the new album has any songs from teh first album on it I will not be buying it. If they re-release another song I will go mad. Please somebody save us from this insult to the integrity of album buying fans and stop this activity.

I voted maybe because I will probably wait until it is on sale in a few years in HMV and get it for half nothing.

That's my thoughts

daragh,
i agree about the re release stuff and the first album wasn't great, but do you not think you're being a bit harsh? i think they've come ona lot in the last few years, do you not agree?

Well the Corrs have a new album coming out called 'Dreams: the ultimate collection'. Basically its a best of album, but does have a new track and a unreleased track. For me its an album i would buy maybe at a later date, as its not an essential album buy.
