Postby nessieq » Fri May 21, 2004 6:55 pm

hey guys,
i know a load of you are TH addicts ( as am i) but i was wondering, how often would you listen to it? every day, every now and again or every waking minute? do you prefer to listen to this instead of other moya./clannad albums?
thanks in advance.

it used to be every day noce I got into it....now it's definitely twice a week if not more. Sometimes it's everyday, at other times it's only twice a week. It depends on my mood and if I have time.

I do like this album better than Moya's other....I guess it's the vocal layer that transports you to this other world which makes me play it over and over again, the same happens with Enya's "The Memory of Trees".

Every now and then...

Postby cantilena91 » Sat May 22, 2004 6:12 am

Lately I have purchased so many new CDs that I haven't listened Moya's music for ages! So, that's why I chose "every now and then"... TH is though a bit different album than Moya's older ones, so I think that this also has influenced to my listening, I have listened TH less than other Moya's albums.

I used to listen almost daily at one point. But nowadays it's more like once every 2 weeks. Recently I was trying to block out a co-workers heavy metal or rap music with my earphones (ouch) and I discovered that if you put "River" quite loud it's got the coolest bass-type sounds! I normally don't listen to music very loudly so I didn't even hear that. There's always something new.

i suppose i'd better reply to my own question...
i too used to listen to it every day, all the time, all the way through but now i like to stick it in my cd player along with a clannad and enya cd or two and click the shuffle button, so i listen to maybe 3 or 4 tracks on it each day. it's definately still my fav moya album, far surpassing any ideas i had about it before i first listened. i still remember listening to that first song clip on the website....

I voted for all the time, but I don't usually listen to it every day. Sometimes I do, but then, if I'm like really busy, I will only listen to it like maybe 2 times a week, or less, just depending on how busy my week is.

I voted for every now and then, but when I first got it I had it in the car and didn't take it out for a while. Just like everything I needed a change and I put it on when I need to relax and unwind. It is good for that kind of mood.

Good question nessieq

I usually fall asleep with TH playing in my headphones. So, it's the most often played Moya/Clannad album I got.

I listen to TH everyday. I have this album on CD in my husbands car and I made a copy on a tape for my own little car. So everytime I drive to work I sing along with Moya. It's so relaxing!!! Sometime I play along with my own Celtic harp so I have to listen that CD very often.

It depends...

I haven't voted, because how often I listen to TH varies a lot. For example:
I have listened to it three times today (yes THREE TIMES) and when I first got it I listened to it all the time, but recently I haven't actually listened to it much - I recently bought 'Anam' and 'Whisper to the Wild Water', so, does that cover me? Anyway - I think it is a MUST HAVE for anyone.
