And just in case any of you are wondering about my vote, it's nonexistent. I can't bring myself to vote for one and not the other...

Same with me Greg, and as I proposed, there's a way out of the dilemma, or not? :?

It is indeed a question that is impossible to answer. After some thinking I voted for Moya. I LOVE Clannad, but Moya's solo works have touched me deeper, I think, especially Perfect Time.

I am very glad, though, that we don't really have to make this choice!

Love,

Suzanne

 This is evil!!! Though I did vote, cause I was too curious to see what others had voted. I voted Clannad since Moya is part of them and if the worst came to the worst, she could make those beautiful tunes with Clannad.

I voted for Moya, simply because i discovered Moya before Clannad and i have only just come across Clannad and become a fan. I have to admit its a hard choice, and one i don't like to make.

You're right there. There's no real need to make a choice ... it's like deciding between your sister or the rest of your family  There's no chance to make a right choice ... (buiochas le Dia  )

Perhaps this is insensitive? Maire has been singing professionally for a long time. I figure this has to have some impact on her voice and I seem to notice this in her work. I voted for Clannad because most of that work was when she was younger.

It's not insensitive, it's your argument and it's a quite good one  But nevertheless I don't want to make a choice ...

I had to vote for Moya, although having loved Clannad's music for many years. Moya's Perfrect time and Whisper to the Wild water helped me rediscover my faith and move on in my life.

Another reason I voted Moya is that her music continues to move on to new dimensions

For me, I can't place a vote.
It really all depends on my mood. Severely depends, even. I can catch a day that I totally yearn for Moya's music, and the next, I can't get enough of Clannad. It's funny, really. But I still can't vote.

I am new to this forum, infact this is my first post so I am not sure what I am suppose to do but I am going to try.
I would say Moya since that is where it started for me. I first heard her on the Streams CD singing with Michael McDonnald.

Yes welcome Joshua...you are doign fine here and looks like you are getting into the swing of things.

My first meeting of the brennans was with Clannad through the Robin Hood series with Harry's Game and all that wonderful mystical stuff.

So it has to be Clannad for me.
