Your favourite album cover?

Now with the realease of Two Horizons everybody have seen all the album covers,I would like to know which one of them fits well with the music,which you like most,which one gives you inspiration,and which one says something to you.

well... that was a bit of a toughie. i really enjoyed whisper to the wild water's cover art for the album, it represented more of a contemplative, timeless side...
i for one, though, tend to favour the contrast of new horizons, because of her two horizons perspective...have of the photos are of warmth and light...and half of them are of moonlight and mystery. it's a beautiful contrast, one that i hope more people will love, also![/list][/quote]

Can't decide between Perfect Time and Two Horizons. But, I chose Two Horizons.

I agree with Kileah about "Whisper..." cover. Timeless is the right word here. For me it's also very visual, it decribes the music perfectly. It's so soothing and fresh as well. Yes -- this is my favourite album and best cover

Whisper To The Wild Water cover is a true masterpiece to me. It's so good that you can nearly feel the wind blowing.
On the other hand, Maire's look on the cover of Two Horizons is so indefinably beautiful that I couldn't decide which one to vote for.

WTWW cover...

Hey, everyone. I voted for the Whisper to the Wild Water cover. It was hard for me to decide whether to vote for it or the Two Horizons cover, though, but I finally did!

Well, I voted for WTTWW cover, because it actually does something!
It's much more an "Active" cover, wherein something happens. I almost voted for MEA or Two Horizons, but WTTWW was better.
I think 2H is a good cover, but I find it to be a bit...boring IMHO. It's just her face , I think Enya makes better covers than that one.

I know she is pretty. But she is just as pretty in WTTWW as in 2H. I like Active covers, a cover where there's the "sense" of motion, better than still lives. THAT's why I find the 2H cover boring

Again, because there are many new members since september. So: what do think??
In this case I did not have to think long: I just love the cover of "Maire". I remember very well when I bought this album that I thought: this has to be the most beautiful cover I have ever seen. And now, about 12 years later it is still my favourite album cover ever. It is just so lovely.
Second place is for Perfect Time because it is such a peaceful picture. Very beautiful.
And what are your favourites???

All of Moya's album covers are great, but I voted for "Máire", since it features Moya's first child, Aisling, and it is a very spontaneous shoot by Moya's husband Tim! Moya's autobiography tells that the image is a bit edited though (the baby's nappy isn't showing!), but it is a very natural!

I voted for the Maire cover too. I just love it. I don't think a scenic shot can ever beat a picture that shows the love between mother and child.
