Hi everyone!

I wonder which instrumental song you like the most, I love Mary of the gaels.

Let me know!

I voted for Harpsong, but I also like many more, e.g. Doon Well, as well as A Gentle Place (Clannad), Brian Boru's March (Clannad), Fonn Mhárta (Clannad), Lady Marian (Clannad), The Fairy Queen (Clannad), and some others!

Hi, everyone. Yes, my favorite instrumental is Mary of the Gaels. I haven't heard many Clannad instrumentals... well, I've only listened to a few Clannad CDs from my library. But of Moya's solo CDs, I really like Mary of the Gaels. In fact, I listened to it this morning before I read this thread!

I voted for Doon Well as I think it is a really nice piece. It is great to play and to really rub it in to you all I love playing it with Moya in our church band as part of our worship service with her husband Tim playing chello. Sorry to rub it in but it is not often I can brag

I voted for Harpsong because I think that it's a very beautiful song, IMHO.

Doon Well is one of very few instrumentals that really touches me. Rarely does a sound actually evoke a really stong emotion in me but this is definately one of them!

Loving the harp,

I also voted for Doon Well. I love the others as well, but Doon Well is my favourite. I just love the sound of the harp (on all songs)!

I also voted for Mary of the Gaels. Because the fine balance between tenderness and joy. A keenly chiseled jewel amongst others !

But all the other tracks mentioned are just as good!

That is such a hard choice. I have to say I love most Clannad instrumentals but I suppose it was Doon Well that really had me sitting down and listning in awe. So Doon Well it is.

I voted a Clannad instrumental as it s "Mrs McDermott" that has stolen my heart. Harpsong comes second though, and then Mary of the Gaels I presume....and then a bunch of Clannad instrumentals!

Love,
