Heads-Up: Links to Moya online

Postby Angoid » Mon Jan 09, 2012 9:51 pm

Just a quick heads-up to say that I've added links from the forum banner to the following:

Moya's Facebook presence
Moya's YouTube presence
Moya's MySpace presence
Moya's Twitter presence
Moya's main site

The links appear to the top right of the header banner for both the Prosilver and Subsilver2 styles; you can hardly miss them :)

Thanks Dave, I like your post :D

Curiously, Moya seems to have 3 or 4 Facebook pages and I can't work out which one is the 'official' one as they all looked legit.
So I chose the most likely candidate, but someome may well come along and say that it should be one of the others....

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Moya-Brennan/38456009106
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Moya-Bren ... 5652027159 (OK, this one promotes 'An Irish Christmas')
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Moya-Bren ... 8199670990
http://www.facebook.com/people/Moya-Bre ... 1597095954

Putting a link in to all three (four if you include the AIC one) would look a bit naff, I thought .....

That's an interesting discovery. I use the first one myself. The responses from that seem genuine enough to me.

I do love the little icons, thanks for putting them up!

I found this website - http://findicons.com/ - that has a whole host of 'em. I'm usually extremely wary of sites like that as they often contain hidden nasties, but this one seemed genuine enough, and completely free to use.

I just searched for Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube icons and that's what I turned up :) quite nice little icons, I thought :)
