:D Brilliant, thanks. Seriously tempted by the Letterkenny gig...I shouldn't I know, but a Christmas concert would be so good :D

I went to see Moya perform in Letterkenny last night with my family and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic concert. I have seen Moya play in Leo's quite a bit in recent times but it has been a long time since I had been to a Moya concert. I think this was my favourite ever!

The fabulous Inishowen Gospel Choir did support and then Moya took to the stage with Aisling, Pól, Cormac, Sinéad and a drummer. The backdrop was amazing, hundreds of little stars and I have never heard Moya's voice in such fine form. I think the set list was much like the other Christmas concerts and I had never heard her perform these Christmas songs before. Highlights were Don Oíche Úd i mBeithil, What Child is this?, Dia do Bheatha (a new Christmas song) and of course Oíche Chiúin. The only non-Christmas songs were I will Find You, Mórag/Alasdair, Seanduine, Cleamhnas Déanta, Crann Úll.

The Inishowen Gospel Choir came back on stage and they did backing for the last few songs, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Dia do Bheatha, Deck the Halls, Oíche Chiúin.

Moya came out to speak with everyone after the concert and to sign CDs. She looked amazing aswell.

Leo and Baba were in the audience and she dedicated a song to them. WHAT A GREAT NIGHT!

Many thaks for posting your little report, Draíocht an Dúlra. It sounds beautiful. I would have liked to be there but it's not possible to go to every concert. But next June I will be back in Donegal.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

In an hour I will be on the motorway home to my parents. It's about 350 km from were I live. In my luggage is Moya's Christmas CD of course and Voices and Harps. I don't want to be 9 days without her voice. :)

That is excellent! Moya will be on stage to celebrate. Altan are playing on Jan 1st in Dunlewey if you have any interest in them.
