Welcome to the forum, Namensvetterin (namesake) :) .

I'm also from the east of Germany (Thuringia). Some years ago I had the same problem as you. Nobody knew Moya or Clannad. But now everyone around me knows who they are and some of my friends accompanied me to concerts. Tomorrow even my hairdresser and his girl friend will come with me to Moya's concert in Cologne. I told him so much about Moya and Ireland that he decided to go to a concert. I hope they will like it.

Lucky you :) .
When Moya played in my hometown last week, I was forced to go alone (even one of my best friends "promised" to come with me the next time, in case that she will ever play there again)...and I will also travel alone to her show in Minden this wed. Got the last ticket before it was sold out, yay :D .

Anyway...maybe we´ll meet at some shows next year, keep me informed about the concerts you are planning to see xo

And guess what?
That's right ... another big welcome from the UK, Susann!

Enjoy your stay here and post often. We don't bite (not very hard, anyway) :)

I know what you mean about very few loved ones in R/L enjoying Moya's and Clannad's music, so glad you found this place!
