Rumour has it that Clannad will do a few concerts in Holland and Belgium this autumn. One of the concerts is confirmed: Wednesday 9 November 2011 in Amsterdam theatre Melkweg. WOOHOO!!! A concert 4 days after my birthday - thank you Clannad for the early present! :mrgreen:

Getting to Amsterdam is easy enough - now all I've got to do is see if I can get the time off work!!!! :roll:

@Yvonne - Ed's link worked for me... Maybe give it another go?

the link seems to be working normal now. This morning the whole Melkweg website was down. Because of to many Clannad fans trying to get a ticket? :lol:

Not a certainty yet, G - I'm still only hoping/dreaming at this stage....

Look towards Chester on Tuesday/Wednesday next week. If you can't see a large blue cloud, you'll know I've got the time off!!!!

I wonder whether they will bring the new album then or would that be too soon...? I wonder at what stage the new album is right now....

I'll keep an eye out Dave. I know I won't be going - it's the same day as my graduation!

I feel I shouldn't say this, but I don't think we should hold our breath over the new album just yet, I seem to remember hearing that it was being worked on 2 years ago and more...

That said, the concerts we've seen recently are positives anyway

You are right, Grania, but I remember reading an article not so long ago in which Moya said that they were going to the studio in August. Or have I remembered that incorrectly? I don't remember which article it was, though. May be it is just wishful thinking :mrgreen:

I would love the go to Tilburg, but I am afraid that I will probably not be able to go. :cry:

Might have a look at the Belgian gigs when more info is available, but we'll see.

Oh darnit, Amsterdam again.... It's not like it's hard to get to but rather getting back is a nightmare sometimes.

Haven't bought any tickets to any concerts sofar .... I do hope we still can get into the De Doelen venue in December!
