Wow, Dave, so you have a hidden talent :D ! No, I also wouldn't dare to argue with Moya's assessment! :D

It must have been great to sing the male harmonies with Cormac. May be a bit scary at first (well, I would be scared  ) but after a while it must have been great!

I would have loved to come this year but I couldn't. So may be next year? I think it must be a wonderful experience and I am glad you had such a great time.

Love,

Yvonne

Not so much "hidden", more that I've never dared to admit it!!!

I got on really well with Cormac (we were chatting for ages after the event too, as we were on the same flight back to Dublin!), so the nerves only really kicked in at the last minute - when my brain finally processed the fact that I was going to be on stage.....with Moya and Cormac.......in Leo's!!!! :O Even though I knew it was going to happen, it still felt quite strange to me, to be honest!

Of course, I wouldn't have missed it for the world, though. It would be great to meet you, if you're able to make it next year.

I believe that your experience is a good promotion for the workshops Dave,I wouldn't be surprised when more members of the forum gang turn up for the next editions. :D

I was sitting next to Dave on stage, and he really did a great job with harmonies, I can testify!

I haven't been on the forum for ages (the last time was after the Guingamp concert). I just read that someone named Ed has photos and video of the week-end? Can anyone tell me where to find this, please?

Thanks Dubhy! You beat me to it, I saw the message, but couldn't reply, because I was at work. Isabelle, I've also sent you a private Email with some extra info on.....

Isabelle? Is that you? :D :D :D :D GREAT to see you! I hope your trip home was good and the crossing a bit smoother than ours was yesterday!

Hi all, I'm back! (more's the pity!) Sound's like Dave's already given you a summary of an amazing weekend so what more is there for me to say?

Saturday night, the album launch, was incredible  Ed's referred to 'Wild Mountain Thyme' (will ye go lassie go)...it's always been a favourite of mine, that is a version I will forever remember  (Dave knows why!)....the first and last time I will ever stand on a bench in any pub (never mind Leo's) to get a good view

Workshops were brilliant fun - need I say any more? I played 4 different harps on Sunday.....but I'm not going to say any more

Sunday night, terrifying, but brilliant :D Then we got to watch the sessions afterwards too... :D

That's so cool Dave! How wonderful is that, to actually receive a compliment like that from a person you so strongly admire because of her musical talent!

I saw your pictures, they are great!
I was wondering if any of you took pictures during the workshops?
Would love to get a glimpse of the atmosphere!

Thanks Hester! You're right, compliments don't get much higher!!!!

I didn't take any photos of the workshops myself, because I'd got enough to concentrate on! That said, I do know that some photos were taken at Ionad Naomh Pádraig, so I'm just waiting to find out if they're online, and if so, where!

As soon as I know, I'll post the info.

I have some pictures from the workshop that I asked the lady (of the newspaper?) to take with my camera, on the last day. I need to figure out where to post them, though.

Edit: I suppose I can try photobucket, like David? I'll do this now and I'll let you know. But there aren't that many, though.

Ok, I don't have many, and I don't have the group picture either, so I'm relying on those who have one to share them.

Ah, great memories.... Thanks for posting these!

I'll make some enquiries about the group shot - Aside from anything else, I've got a feeling it's going to be a fun shot!!!! :P
