Hi,

The internet holds the lyrics for most of Clannad's songs, however not all of the albums had the lyrics printed in the sleeve notes.

The original CD releases for the BMG albums all had lyrics apart from 'Lore' (which only had those for 'Seanchas', the lead single), however the later pressings of the 80s albums didn't contain lyrics. The Japanese versions of the remastered albums all have the lyrics.

As for the early albums, some have some lyrics, some don't have any. The double-pack of 'Clannad 2/Dúlamán' from Gael-Linn has the lyrics for both albums.

I'm confused I heard Magacial Ring, and Macalla didn't have lyrics, only the promo of macalla has lyrics ;)

I have CDs of Magical Ring and Macalla and none have lyrics

I could be wrong; Lore on my CD doesn't have lyrics, unless you talking about a different format :)

The remastered CDs Magical Ring, Macalla, Sirius, Banba, Lore and Landmarks do they have lyrics?

I've got all the remastered CDs, and although they have some nice interesting notes to go with them, they don't have the songs' lyrics written down.

To be honest I think looking around on the internet is your best bet on this one.

I don't have any of the new remastered albums, but my versions:

Anam has lyrics, as well as Banba and Landmarks. Anything before Anam and including Lore, no such luck.

I have often wondered why the lyrics were not included in the booklets. I can understand it for the older albums, but the newer ones, like Lore? Surprising. (and annoying)

It's weird on macalla only the japanese has lyrics, the others dont

I assume the inlay on macalla is just who sang what and some pictures

Sorry, I think I was getting mixed up - I've just checked, and the LP of Magical Ring had lyrics, but the CD didn't, not did Macalla, however Macalla did have a larger booklet on it's first CD release. The 2-CD version of Lore had the 'Seanchas' lyrics. At least in the UK anyway. In Ireland, most of the BMG albums are the same, however Magical Ring was released by Tara Records, so might be slightly different.

The remastered albums didn't contain lyrics as standard, except in Japan where they came with the original lyrics, and, if I remember correctly (my copies are still in storage), Japanese translations.

I heard tara version of Magical had lyrics, can someone load some pictures of their version of this LP.
There you stood in front of me
Dressed in glory, white to see
Spell-bound on the deep blue skies
Created on high
Cold and warm, you set one's heart
'Cause you're the mighty one
