'fraid so, G - as confirmed on my credit card statement!

As these are few and far between, though, it has to be done - although I'm not going to deny that the £6 Ryanair fare that I managed to get was (for once) gratefully received!

Sorry you won't be there, G - you'll be missed! :D

I can understand the reasons why, though - and it's for exactly that reason that I decided not to go to Glasgow. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw what the train fare was, and it's much too far for me to drive up there!

Have a ball in Glasgow, and make sure Moya knows what will be lying in wait for her at Christ Church the following week (just mention the "Mad Brummie" and wait for the reaction)!!!!!

I just hope they come out to say hi afterwards - anyone who's been to T with the Maggies tell me?

What was the train fare for you then? We've got it down to £15 or something so far (love trainline!)

[off topic!!!!] The train fare seems to have come down since I last looked actually (about £35), but as I've got a return flight to Dublin for £19, and I'll only be travelling for 2 and a half hours to Dublin compared to 4 and a half to Glasgow (with a particularly awkward change in Warrington)!

Fair enough. I do hope I get the opportunity to say Hi though in Glasgow, if only to prove that I am still around, it's been a year since Monkstown  nearly 2 since I went to a full concert

It's a shame you can't come along, G, especially with it looking like a bit of a forum gathering (five years since my last big one!). However, I totally understand why you can't come along, I had to sadly miss out on Moya's last UK tour as I was skint beyond belief. Enjoy Glasgow though!

Actually to be honest with you, although it's taken a lot of hard thinking I'm not at the moment too upset :) I expect there'll be a huge crowd in Dublin, and these days I don't like dealing with that kind of thing. I'm hoping Glasgow will be a great evening without all that to deal with too - and I've had a pretty good run  Clannad in Rotterdam, Glasgow and twice on their UK tour. Time to let someone else have my ticket

Have a great time though folks!

One for the folks who are coming along to the Tradfest next week ('cos I've got no idea if you can send PMs to more than one person, or how to do it! :P) - I've just been given this piece of info that you may find interesting.......

Hi Dave, many thanks for posting the link to the Irish Film Institute. I have bought a ticket right now .

See you in Dublin,
Susann
