Clannad Interview: New Album, Tour, Movie Soundtrack

In a recent interview on the Italian radio Station Radio Punte Zero, Moya and Ciarán Brennan talked about Clannad and their concert in Trieste on July 17th. They told that Clannad will shortly, this autumn, get in the studio to record a new album to be released in the beginning of next year, perhaps followed by a tour. At the moment Clannad is writing songs and music for a movie, with a title that is still secret. Doing that they got encouraged to work on new songs an do more as Clannad. Wow! An amazing new movie score, an album that will be in the works soon, and perhaps a Chance to see them live (again) ? WOW!

Great news and hopefully, all promises will be fulfilled Am interested in knowing which movie they are going to do a score for though - I hope it's a more high - wait, could it be the Hobbit movie that was cancelled? Perhaps they've taken it up again?

In any case, as I was beginning to say, I hope it's going to a high-profile movie, one that gets a lot of media attention.
