I'm back !!

Postby Dubhy63 » Thu Sep 24, 2009 10:16 pm

I can't describe in words how happy I am at the moment.A month without internet access is a long time, especially when it's also used to stay in touch with family and friends. The reason of my absence is the ' brilliant ' :x service of the phone company,a simple change of address seems to be a huge challenge. The only reason that I still use their service is the fact that a move to another ( + faster and cheaper ) service only will be available around the end of this year.Enough chat now,I'm going to catch up :D

Emoclew :D Dubhy I know all about Internet relocational problems and companies that can't handle it when you change your address. I moved only last year, and I think I had to tell most companies at least twice that I'd moved.

Yet your mortgage lender makes a mistake that makes it look like you have a bad credit rating, and everyone knows about it immediately without you having to say anything ..... except to the mortgage company telling them to get their act together and sort out their mess.

Shocking.

Welcome back Dubhy!

You don't fill me with confidence  I'm picking up the keys to my new place today, and we haven't organised internet yet. I therefore had better take this opportunity to warn everyone that if I'm missing for a while, that's why

Good to see you back!

Mobile broadband! It's pretty rubbish but at least it means I can get online. Would you believe everyone we went to asking for a landline wanted about £130 re-connection charge - even though my landlady told them not to disconnect the place!!!!!! grrrrrr

Anyways, I'm back, and yep, got my own place which is slowly becoming more civilised  Can't get rid of a smell that I think is mothballs from the bed and is really driving me bananas, but ah well

well....just been busy with life i guess......finished nursing school a while back....then started working for a while...couldn't do the 12 hour "nights" so...left that hospital. I couldn't find another job as easily as i thought. Most hospitals were not hiring new grads...so i'm now in school getting my estheticians license...or skin care specialist. I perform microdermabrasion...and all sorts of facials for anti aging and rejuvenation. So...far I love it...Who knows...maybe i can incorporate both nursing and skin care skills together some how.... :)) That's whats been going on..so far...
