My song of the day is The Power of Love by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.I heard this song for the first time in the 80's and has always been among my favourites since. :D
* No man ever wore a scarf as warm as his daughter’s arm around his neck.*

Joe Hisaishi - Tatara Women Work Song

Because it's stuck in my head and I love this song a lot ^^. It's used in Hayao Miyazaki's movie 'Princess Mononoke'.

My song for today is "A tune for Frankie" by Altan

I think most of you know the band, they are from Donegal, and play traditional Irish music.
This is the last track of their 1996 album "Blackwater".All the songs in this album are great but for some reason,I really love this particular song.I keep playing it over and over again, and never get tired of it.enjoy :D

A tune for Frankie is a great tribute to one of the greats in Irish music. He sadly died in 1994,your choice is not a surprise for me Cliona. :)

My song of the day is Tara by Moya of course. The Hill of Tara is one of the most important remains of ancient Ireland and also a place for thoughts and inspiration. No need to say that the combination of Moya's voice and the lyrics has resulted in pure magic,it perfectly fits the picture.

The photo that can be found through the link was taken on a very cold day ,it was absolutely freezing on the Hill, but well worth the visit.

My song of the day is Oren Lavie - Her Morning Elegance, because it's been in my head for a while. It's just a relaxing song and the video is sooo awesome! I love creative videos. You should have a look if you have the time ^^:

my song of the day is "Africain à Paris" (African in Paris) by Tiken Jah Fakoly, which is a song about the condition of illegal immigrants...
It is adapted from 'Englishman in New York' by Sting
