Padraic, Máire's new CD could be either a studio album of hymns or duets, we're not quite sure, but it will be a lovely surprise! Moya is also recording an album with Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, Maighréad & Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill and Clannad are apparently recording a new unplugged album, so a busy 2010 is ahead, but hopefully Moya's new album will be out this year. Keep an eye out on the forum, lots of fans here check every possible source every day... we're sane though!

Yes, as Robbi said there are a lot of plans for 2010, but so far we haven't had any updates yet. We're still hoping of course!

On the other hand, don't you think that sanity also depeds on one's own state of mind and who you compare it to?
I think I am perfectly sane (most of the time), although some people (including my mother and a colleague of mine) don't really agree (I knew I shouldn't have told them about Ludwigsburg)

I just noticed the ad for the documentary to be aired in the USA, and I pre-ordered the CD and DVD set. Can't wait to see it!

I just downloaded the album "Welcome Home: The Music Of Ireland" for $7.99 on amazon's MP3 website. For those interested you can get it here: http://www.amazon.com/Music-Ireland-Wel ... 5&sr=301-1

Moya told me at the Denver concert last night that she just completed an album with her Cormac and it will be available on her upcoming Holland tour. She said, after the tour they will release it on a national level so we can all get it. I for one am excited to get it.

Thanks for the news! It's been a while since we've had a proper Moya album, so this is certainly welcome news.

I was talking to Máire Breatnach at the St. Patrick's day gig here in Belfast, and she's on the album, I can't wait!! I'm wondering if it will be 'Moya Brennan & Cormac de Barra' - a stripped down album, could this be the Hymns one, or a more traditional/folk album? Gahh, I can't wait!
