Wow! 18 days in Gweedore; what was that like? It must have been very calming and revitalizing.

You are absolutely right.

When I'm in a city or town or area where I have never been before I'm extremely unresting. I want to see and to do as much as I can there. But since 2006 I have spent about 80 days in Donegal and most of the time in Annagry and Gweedore. This part of Donegal is a perfect "base camp" for travelling and walking in this awesome county. So I know a lot there and I'm not in a hurry anymore. That's fantastic!!!

Thanks Puha, AndyPandy and Dubhy63 for sharing your photos - I like it and I am longing for donegal again.

Dave, I didn't know the word "carnage" before. Now I have learnt a new word .

Thank you all for your nice words. I think I will create more links with photos of Ireland ordered by Irish regions.
And Simi, of course we will see each other in Ludwigsburg. I look forward to see Moya and you and Franz again :) :) :).

Thanks for posting, Aaron - great pictures!

I wouldn't mind going over there for New Year myself, but by my own admission, I wasn't organised enough this year... By the time I got around to booking flights, etc., the fares were ridiculously expensive!

Oh well, I'll just have to be more prepared for New Year 2011!
