I would be very happy if you could give me some tips.

I had a brief stay in Ballycastle a few years ago, Susann. From what I can remember of it, it's quite a nice little place - I've also seen Rathlin, but only from a passing boat that I was on at the time!!!!

If it's tips on Northern Ireland you're after, I suspect I may know just the person who might be able to help.......

Hi everybody!
As I wrote in this forum, I and my husban were in Ireland, and in Donegal.
Now we created a short video about this. This is the first, but we plan one about the whole trip.

Enjoy it! :)

Thanks Dave. I was in Ireland from the 16th May until the 18th June. I started in Northern Ireland (3 days visiting friends in Bangor). I had a 4.5 hours Black Taxi Tour in Belfast. I payed only for 2 hours but the driver had time :). Then I stayed one night near Torr Head and one night on Rathlin Island, 4 nights Benwiskin Centre (north of Co. Sligo), 18 days Gweedore, 2 days Trim and 4 days Dublin. Unfortunately since I'm back from holidays I've been very busy and had no time to sort my pictures out. I hope I can post my photos in the forum mid August.

Just last night I came back from a business trip to Dublin. When I arrived on Sunday in Dublin I became aware that U2 would have their 3d concert in Croke Park on Monday. The concert was sold out and I didn't know if I would have time to go there. But on Monday I was back in the hotel at 6:30 pm. I decided to go to Croke Park to try to get a ticket. And I was lucky   . I met 3 nice guys from Carlow who had a ticket left. I had to pay only the normal price. The concert was amazing. I've seen U2 three times in Germany but in Croke Park .... :D :D :D :D :D .

Wow! 18 days in Gweedore; what was that like? It must have been very calming and revitalizing. :)

I can imagine!!!! I'd love to have gone, but I think trying to get into Croke Park with the crowds would have been a bit too much. After all, I managed to cause mayhem with a couple of hundred people in Leo's last year - can you imagine the carnage I could have caused with several thousand in Croke Park?!!!

Great photos, Andy. I assume from the comments you had some rain, then?!!!

You got a better photo of Errigal than I did. I tried to take one from Bunbeg beach which was too far away to recognise it, then tried to take another one from the plane back to Dublin which didn't come out at all (although if you squint hard enough, you can see my reflection in the window....)!!!
