i was wondering firstly did we have a topic about this yet, cause i coudn't find one and thought it'd seen one, and secondly what you guys think of it? have you heard it? would like to? having problems finding it? think it's better or worse than the original?

well, Richard, on the inside of the sleeve it says "not for sale- promotional use only" which implies it hasn't been.
i think Barry's probably the person to tell you about that, it's his area of expertease!

I'm not sure if Show Me got an official release, but there are a number of promos for that song, and Tara didn't get released as far as I'm aware, but there are two promos for that song.

I've found a third promo of "Tara"! I ordered what I thought would be one of the two I knew of from an online record shop, and today arrived a 2-track CD-R promo (no catalogue number, generic white cover with only track details and the expected release date).

Track listing:

1."Tara (radio)" 3'40 - this is the same as the 'single mix'
2. "Tara (extended radio)" 4'48 - now this version I'd never heard of before! It's basically an extended version of the 'single mix' but has a few small differences which makes for a nice listen.

I'll be doing a big update to the Moya discography over the coming weeks, so I'll upload scans and details as soon as I can.

Barry.

 You flatter me! I ordered it from a 2nd hand shop in Manchester http://www.vinylexchange.co.uk/, found deep in Manchester's 2nd hand record shop district (honestly, there's loads of record shops scattered around! I must have spent a fortune when I visited there).

Keep your eyes out on ebay, if there's one copy, there'll be more, and they'll no doubt find their way to ebay very soon I'd imagine (along with that last Tara promo I'm after!).

 It's grown, and I've had to give away some Corrs, Björk and Joni singles to make way (they've gone to loving homes, and I can visit any time I want). Well, what can I say, I'd be modest, but why? What are wages for if not for blowing out on CDs???? I mean, to quote that age-old record collecting motto "I can do without food for a few more days!"

Okay, I admit, I'm not *THAT* bad! Then again, there's a record fair at the Town Hall this coming Saturday... :P

I wish! Just a few hundred... (January sales can be amazing for boosting CD collections), and you have to keep in mind I've been collecting for almost ten years.

With approx 40 Moya solo/guest appearance CDs, seven vinyl releases, 63 Clannad CDs and 23 vinyl releases (going by a quick count), along with a couple of DVD/Video appearances.

Lol, I wouldn't call myself a guru - I do follow Ed's Clannad discography and the Enya.com discography to get my info on them!
