Home Page: What's Yours?

When you log on to the Internet, where do you start from?

I set mine to Google as it's way the best search engine and research tool there is!

mine is really very interesting: it's a blanc page which says "blanc" at the top of it, jusdt to remind you in case you forget and catually try to do something on this interesting white screen...
i never thought computers could be patronising, but mine sure is!

Nessieq, is that by design :?:

It probably has "about:blank" in the address bar.

head.scratch();

If it's truly a blank screen with nothing on it and about:blank in the address bar, then it's probably something someone else has set up and you're OK.

If however, the screen has anything on it such as what looks like a search engine and lots of links then this could indicate a problem.

I default mine to about:blank - it means less hassle and waiting for a page to download when you open up Internet Explorer.

My modem configuration page.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams ... glitter in the dark near Tanhauser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost ... in time, like tears ... in rain. Time ... to die.

My starting page is google at the moment, but I'm planning to change that. I never use the search engine at once when I enter the internet. First, I usually check my E-mails or browse through some forums.

I use google.ie and then the Gaeilge version. It is good fun when others try to use it, cause they have no idea where to click :lol:
