FORUM A GO GO
From today you will be able to register and log on to Moya's site forum.
In fact, a few of you have been very quick to respond and are already discussing the finer points of things 'Moya'!
We look forward to seeing how the forum evolves and who knows, maybe Moya will pop in herself from time to time.
You can access it from Moya's homepage or directly
Happy forumming

Right, it seems like we've got something to celebrate next month! :D any ideas of what we could do? I for instance would love to hear stories of those of you who were there from day one!

Aaaaw, how cool! You're right, Hester, we should not let this wonderful occasion pass without doing something memorable.. Hmmmm..
I could tell you a few stories, although I wasn't here from day one exactly. I do remember a time when the three top posters on the forum were greg, barry and Moya, however  And Homer was a regular too (wherever did he get to, anyway?). Fun times! How much the place has grown...

Hester, that's cool! Where did you find this? And you're right, we should celebrate that date - although I'm here myself for 4 years this month - tomorrow in 2 weeks I'm here since 4 years - wow!
@ Ness: do you think we should have a "Nostalgia" thing - when you're now talking about this?

Wow, I forgot the forum was even that small! And to think, by the time the five year anniversary comes I just might have posted 1,000 posts - this is my 993rd, ness, you put me to shame!

I'm even a veteran from the ORIGINAL Máire forum over on the Word Records website (as are noodle and Garbo) which was around nine years ago - how time flies!

I believe I am one of the relative "newbies", but, nevertheless, five years ... wow. Congratulations, Moya and staff and members. That's a great achievement, indeed.

I think it's me who should be ashamed, Barry! And yes, it was most certainly that small- that was half the reason I joined- I thought it was *so* cool that there were so few people and that you could *actually* talk to Moya Brennan! There was something very homely about the place, and the fact that everyone knew everyone else. It's nice to see that that has largely remained the same, despite the fact that we have so many more members now. And to think of all the things that have happened as a result of this place... Gweedore Gatherings, concert meet ups, those two people that wrote a book together.... well, it's amazing! We must all have our own forum stories- I wonder if it'd be fun to share some of them as a kind of 'celebration'? It would be such a nice thing to share...

Definitely up for that - I've heard good things about Mega Moshes!!!

I've only been around 6 months, but I do like Nessie's idea, too. It would be fun to share stories - I'm sure I could think of something!!!!

I know it's a bit early, but HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOYA'S FORUM!!!!

Kewl!

I don't know if I belong to the oldbies or newbies....I guess I fall in between, having been around long enough to remember, but not long enough to understand/talk about some things that happened here :)

But evenso - Look at how good this forum still is!!!

Smells like a craic... oh how time flies (and posts too! )!

MegaMosh is a great idea indeed, I'm up for it if I just find some time!

Wow, five years of the forum, and it's going stronger than ever! I am definitely one of the newcomers, having only been here 2.5 years so far, but I've been around long enough to have seen some great Christmas chats with Moya, the SLT  , and to see Clannad getting back together (although I saw it on the computer screen and not in person). And that's only the start of the great things that have happened around here, I'm sure!

And I am ready for a mosh!

And congrats Barry on your 1000 posts! :D
