‘Behind the rotunda the slender trees with yellow leaves down drooping, and through them just a line of sea, and beyond the blue sky with gold-veined clouds’
Katherine Mansfield.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

Though I care a lot
You don't believe it's true, do you?
So the answer's not
Give in before you start to try

Chorus:
Almost seems to late to turn
What to do if I'm to learn
Almost seems to late to turn
To you

I saw the sad decline
A rift become a storm
Stayed so cold last night
This lonely heart inside me says

Almost seems to late to turn
What to do if I'm to learn
Almost seems to late to turn
To you

Now the anger's gone
It leaves behind the pain again
Where did we go wrong?
Let go, my shadow, pass me by

Almost seems to late to turn
What to do if I'm to learn
Almost seems to late to turn
To you

Says a lot about my life right now

Whisper to the wild water

Slowly I turn - Máire Brennan

It's a bit silly, but very true.....

"To make a mistake is human, but to really screw things up requires a computer!"

Definitely my experience - I don't know about anyone else!

A lovely, melancholy song by ELP, to the wonderful melody of Mussorgsky's Promenade:

Lead me from tortured dreams
Childhood themes of nights alone.
Wipe away endless years,
childhood tears as dry as stone.

From seeds of confusion,
illusions dark blossoms have grown.
Even now in furrows of sorrow
the dance still is sung.

My life's course is guided
decided by limits drawn
on charts of my past ways
and pathways since I was born.

*love it*

There is this song called 'this killer' by blackfield and there is one line in that song that's been in my head for ages.

" It's always me alone that hears the noise, 'cause it's my inner-voice"
Ó lá go lá, mo thuras...

I've been listening to a lot of Nightwish songs lately and have fallen in love with Anette's version of "Dark Chest of Wonders", especially

"Fly to a dream, far across the sea, all the burdens gone, open the chest once more"

and

"It's time to turn back time, follow the pale moonlight"

:D
Don't give up now
Don't give up the bit of blue sky
You've got to go to find it
Where all the lights shine brighter

I really like the whole lyrics of Kate Bush's song 'How to be Invisible', but I especially like this part:

"I found a book on how to be invisible
You take a pinch of keyhole
And fold yourself up
You cut along the dotted lines
And think inside out
You jumo 'round three times
You jump into the mirror
And you're invisible"
The turn of the day, when all music fools come out to play until the drunk turn of night.

Wow!! Sounds like my ideal paradise! :D

OH MY GOD!!! I think I've heard that before. I swear it was in a Doctor Who episode!!!

Anyways, one of my favourites is:

"I can never be angry with Moya, because I love her too much" - Bono. Speaks for itself really.

Yeah, I believe it was Lupin that said that, but I remember something about it being in Doctor Who, but that's just me and my slightly crazy obsession with the programme

So... Don't look at me weird or something, but I think the Teen Titans rule... :P Watch it usually every morning, since I have nothing else to do then... And sometimes, even a animated serie/show has some wonderfull sayings and quotes. The following quote was said in an episode where one of the main characters, Starfire, was called Troq(assumed to be meaning "nothing", meaning the "Troq" is considered to be worth nothing, meaningless and inferior...
At the end of the episode Starfire said the following...

"There will always be people who say mean words because you are different. And sometimes their minds cannot be changed. But there are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. Those are the people whose words truly matter..."

That always stuck to me since I ever saw that episode. I don't know about you guys, but this became one of my favorite quotes ever! :)
