And Northern Ireland's brittish.

LOL
yes indeed it is, but my mum is from the south so that gives me every right to mock the irish! Besides- the irish do enough mocking of themselves without me adding to it- it's their sense of humour.
Anyway, who said I was mocking the Irish? :P I do love moya's 'arum', it makes me smile. I'm not making fun at all!

Indeed the Irish mock themselves, and I didn't say you were mocking them.

Did I tell you about the Crown in Belfast?

Lol I know a fair old bit about the Crown- I pass it often enough ;)

anyway- many faces???
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

There's plenty of them around. But yeah, good song.

Do you people never sleep?
Behind the innocent,
the last, the least and the lost
will be found in the storm

Ever since hearing Many Faces live in Pawling NY hearing the song will always recall the sight of Shannon Lambert-Ryan moving to the rhythm while shaking something. It was the evening of the Glass of Water.

It wasn't on my list of favourites for quite some time, but I think it's fair to say that the song has grown on me, and now I really like it - especially as Moya has started to put it back into her live sets again!

Moya, if you read this, I have to apologise - I confess that after reading about the hand jiving incident, I was sitting on my hands all the time you were singing "Many Faces" in Hoofddorp, just to make sure that I didn't start doing it myself!!!
