Thanks to Methica's post! Aisling, Moya's daughter, has a new MySpace with some of her experimental material that is a bit whacky, but amazing. And the piano playing is to die for! D=

You can check out her solo work at:

And with her band, Auto Pilot, (includes vocals):

I wish I could come up with music a millionth as good as her and her bands' stuff, it's so amazing for people so young! A lady to remember for the future!

A teeny wee sample here for those on narrow-band.

Thanks for the link - I like what I hear! "We Won't Come Down" certainly shows off Aisling's lungs. Let's hope she keeps on experimenting.

Is Aisling so far removed from the family as to be a Rattle Bag topic rather than a Clannad topic? Or must Clannad topics refer to the original generations in Clannad? There was once talk of a "Clannad Mark 2".

Though I don't think Aisling is removed from the family, I somehow can't see her thread fitting into Clannad topic. :) Clannad 2 would've been much better...

As for the music, I love it! I love the vocals in "We won't..." and the piano in "I'm all about..." is simply mesmerising even though I'm not into electronica at all. Great stuff, Aisling! :)
And so - this is where I should be now

It's great to hear her and I hope she keeps experimenting with the music.

She added me with Green Noise a few weeks ago, when all she had was "I'm All About Experiments, Me" and "Move (ft James O'Neill)...
And some times after that she uploaded "We Won't Come Down", definatly a song with power!
I definatly like her songs!!

Ohh I really like Aisling's 2 songs! I really like electronical music like that. Her music reminds me of the music a friend of mine makes. I wonder what kind of songs she'll make in the future =D And I like the songs on the Autopilot myspace as well.
Why is the entire Brennan family able to sing and make music? It's not fair xD.

I just dropped by Aisling's Myspace to see if anything new had turned up, and yep, three new tracks and they're honestly wonderful stuff. I'm really enjoying these tunes, and I very much like her voice. 'Consider the Word Panic' is currently on repeat :D

The latest new track is Winning Things With Interesting Names. Shutters Pride and Consider The Word Panic have been online for a while. And I agree, they are amazing!

I'll have to make sure I check back more often. In fact, I'll use that as an excuse for another visit right now
