I've to reply to lots of posts here, busy with work at the minute, but will be on later!

Ar scór ar bith, there's this download called Spotify on which you can listen (legally) to full songs by Moya etc.

Have any of you used it? I've been listening to 'Craigie Hill' by Cara Dillon and 'Mháire Bhruinneall' by Reel Feelings all night (while working... of course!). It's quite cool, I thought I'd let you all know about it =)

U2 also released their new album to stream for free exclusively on Spotify.

I wouldn't use it if it wasn't legal, but all artists get royalties from the record companies including payment from the ads, so it is supporting Moya's music, plus they have a new chart system on the way. Doesn't beat having Moya on iTunes from Moya CDs you've bought (It's much better having artwork and sleeves), but it's good for rare music that you can't find much anymore. AND, soon, artists will be able to add their independent releases... 'Óró' soon maybe??

Spotify was mentioned in a computer magazine some weeks ago,but it's not available in the Republic at the moment.I hope this will change in the near future, independent releases can be interesting. :)
