i thik that's a decent compromise, grania, but let's face it, moya and admin aren't highly likely to look at the fan space, and if they do our plans are scuppered anyway!

never mind, i'm gunna put some stuff down and send it to ya anyway, and perhaps we could al discuss it in a mosh.
any other ideas?

So are we physically sending photos and an A4 page or can we do this digitally as well? Or does that just make it confusing.... :?

I might need a little technical support, but I guess that would be OK :)

It would be easier from my point of view to have everything posted, but I'm sure we can work something out :D

I think it would be easier to post them. Do you have a type of a Youth Club near you that we can send them to with your name?

No, sorry Roibeard. But I am working on a way around that :D

Question - who has changed the title of this topic? And how? Not being rude, I just wondered :?

For me it would be easier to send the things digitally, because I hardly know anymore how to send a real letter.
I also need some time to think about what I actually want to send.

:D It wasn't me Grania, maybe one of the moderators? I think it is really funny. Though I really wonder if it is any help. If I were Moya this heading would certainly make me want to have a peek.

Hey, everyone. It must have been either the person who first posted the message or one of the moderators or Admin (but I doubt it was Admin). It wasn't me, though.

So photos and letters are awesome ideas. Especially since Moya cares so much for her fans. She's one of the only musicians out there who still believes that she wouldn't be anywhere if it weren't for her fans. And that's true for any musician or movie star or anyone who's in the public's eye like that. So thank you, Moya, for that, if you ever do get to read this!

I also had another idea: for those of you who can play instruments and/or sing, why not record a mini-album of yourself doing covers of Moya/Clannad songs and/or your own stuff? If I were Moya, I would so appreciate that kind of thing along with letters and photos! Just an idea...

'T'was me! Sorry, I was rushing off to work and didn't have time to post a reason why - just incase Moya looked by accident, now we only have to worry about her getting tempted.

Greg, the cover-CDs would be a great idea, and even for those of amongst us that may not be as vocally gifted as I (*ahem* yeah right! :P  ), maybe something (ie artwork, poetry etc) inspired by Moya's music?

Barry.

So! I have the guilty party! Thanks for telling me Barry - you have me worried for a minute :)

Songs is a great idea, but I'm not sure how we could put it with the book - a separate thing for that on it's own maybe. That aside it's a great idea!!!

Keep 'em coming! I really like the way this is shaping up! :D :D :D :D

Oh dear - are we dealing with different paper-sizing across the globe here? That might present a problem :?

A4 is the most common size of paper over here - if you like I will give you some measurements. Just normal size really, so we're talking two sides of that. Sorry if I haven't explained it well - someone else have a go :)

A4 = 210 mm X 297 mm, rain.
Anyone care totell us what sort of thing they're putting into the book?
