Hey, Grania,

I'll send you the drawing of Moya, which I've made, okay? Then you can give it to her - with the warmest greetings from me.

Great!!

So, what do we all think? 1 page of A4 paper maximum, to be put together and given to Moya or her family in Donegal?

If so, when should we set a deadline for?

Wow, this is such a great idea, and I'm sure Moya would love to recieve her own book of our work.

I really, really would love to be able to make it to Donegal to see the whole thing being handed over, but we'll have to wait and see.

A question , well, 2 ...

1. What do you think of me making a covrer for the book? I knwo it's a bit selfish of me to ask because i know others are keen artists too, but i thought I'd give it a go, I have a really great idea involving some gorgeous died fabrics and beads, sequens etc... what do you think?

2> A4 page is the limit, I apprechiate that, but both sides or just one? :?:

N.

EDIT: i was just thinking, if we only have an A4 page to do it in, a photo would take up an awful lot of that, and I'm sure Moya would love to put faces to some of the names- how about we have a few of them as a separate thing? At the start or something, just our names and a photo...?
maybe not, let me know your thoughts.

I like the idea. :!:
just i'm not sure if i can do s.t. for it, as i'm known for being unable for such works  . but i'm thinking hard to find a solution.

@nessie
i'm sure you'll do a great job on the cover.

Nessie's question gave me an idea
:D - how about we have one or two pages consisting of JUST fan photo's. So if people send their photos not stuck to anything, then we can arrange them in a certain area, with names etc - what do you think of that?

@Lady Ryu, what are you not sure about? Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean

@ grania
i'm not exactly the creative type. so i'll have a hard time to do such a page for the book.

I see what you mean, but don't worry about it. I'm not really the creative type either!

I think just something about you, maybe a message for Moya, perhaps a photo of where you live, anything like that should do. It doesn't need to be anything specific :)

Nessieq, I'd be happy for you to do the cover,

I'd probably say two sides of A-4, as some people like to let their creativity flow, 1 side isn't that much to do it on.

The section for fan photos would be good too, then Moya can put a face to us all.

I was thinking this morning of the Björk Book that was released a few years ago, it has a material cover, and inside there are the best photos of Björk, some interviews, things from fan websites from over the years (quizzes etc), and in the back there is a section that was given to artists, photographers etc entitled "Four pages for Björk", they each had four pages to do whatever they liked as a present for her, and there's some really interesting stuff in there. So this book could be our very own "Two Pages For Moya".

Barry.

I have already spoken to Grania about this, and if no-one has any objections i wouldlike to help put it together. I think that it is a really great idea, and it is just a shame i won't be in Donegal with the rest of you.

I'm sure Nessie will make a great cover! Sounds like a nice idea.

For me 1 side of an A4 page would be enough, but either way...

I really like the idea os a few pages at the start with just our photos and names... a nice introduction that doesn't interfere with the actual artwork. :D

Heya folks,
Grania, get out of my head, that's exactly what i was thinking, and I mean exactly as in those exact words- i thought about a sort of "gallery" at the start.
We also need some sort of intrduction at the start- to tell moya what it's all about, a list of the people putting it together etcetc.
Roibeard- you'll send the pages to grania, and between the pair of us we'll sort the book out- me with the cover, her the cutting and sticking etcetc.
I'm so glad you guys are letting me do this- I won't let you down, promise!
