Last weekend the snow was forecast to be 1 to 3 inches deep. Instead, it turned out to exceed a foot!

Thanks Andy, for the encouragement.

Cool picture Turlough! Nothing better than fresh fallen snow and the snow on the tables gives you a clear idea of how much snow you got!
If we have snow here it is usually just a few cm and within no time at all, the snow in the streets is one dirty mess...

Wow...nice  I love the way snow in winter cleans everything up...at least, for a short while, as Hester says, over here it never lasts.

Just looked at Andy's photos following an MSN chat with him, and I have to say those photos are great Andy!

The ones of Bunbeg remind me of July 2005, and the others are pretty stunning!

This is my cross-strung harp, related to Grania's harps, as you can tell by the colors of the wood.

It can be played in any key (by someone who knows how!) and has no levers. Sometime I'll be ready to record it.

If you choose to repeat a post, Jo, I'm not taking the blame for it - it's on your head. I've just provided the ammunition!!!

You couldn't have posted it for a while though, to be fair, 'cos I haven't seen it before. Thanks!!!

Beautiful! Pheonix park is one of the areas of Dublin I haven't got to yet - thank you so much for showing us that!
