Album: Free

Comments: The latest, stunning album for everyone who like ethereal boys choir singing! So far out in the Asia and the UK, but definitely worth for purchasing!

My last albums I've bought

Postby Macha » Tue Oct 05, 2004 3:00 pm

Hi all,

my last albums I've bought were:
Clannad: In a Lifetime
Moya Brennan: Two Horizons, Misty Eyed Adventure, Perfect Time
Enya: Only Time - The Collection
The Celtic Chill out Album (Diverse; there are some songs from Enya on it, too).

Does anybody know if Enya does release a new album?

One more from me!

Postby cantilena91 » Fri Oct 08, 2004 3:56 pm

Album: Songs of Solace
Artist: Novospassky Monastery Male Choir
Comment: I have always admired the music of Russian Orthodoxes and especially their choral music, and because I'm going to see this choir live in concert here in my home city quite soon, I found the CD in the meantime for myself. Beautiful music!

What's Matt Molloy's work like? I saw a section from him in my record shop, but there were no CD's there. I love his flute playing with the Chieftains - especially 'Strayaway Child' and I'd love to hear some more.
Music and friendship - the answer to life's problems.

I heard Your voice
Whisper to the wild water
Step By Step
Slowly I turn - Máire Brennan

The latest additions to my collection are:

Spiritualized "Pure Phase". Not as good as "Lazer Guided Melodies" and "Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space", but still enjoyable.

Prince "The Very Best Of". Some good songs from Prince from 1979-2001, including my favourite "Raspberry Beret" - fantastic song!

My latest one is a copy of a portugese Fado cd... never thought I'd ever have that one in my collection  It actually wasn't really my idea, but my fiddle teacher thought it would be a good idea to listen to it for timing, rhythm, dynamics and intonation  . And I have to admit, I quite like it! :D Especially the guitar is great.

Yep, another edition to my Irish music collection!
Finally a Dutch cd with real Irish music! It's the solo cd of Gilles Rullmann, a Dutch fiddle player I met last week. :D
