That's the wonder of Ryanair

It was great to see you Luned, thanks for being so patient with our insanity!

Insanity?! whatever do you mean, Grania? :P
and yeah, the so-called cheap flights... but everything else was cheaper than I'd expected, too. I could stay in a beautiful single en suite room for about the same price I paid for a bunk bed in a room for 6 people last year in London. And the scenery is really gorgeous... the sea, the mountains, the medieval castles :)

 You know exactly what I mean

You will find everything is more expensive in London - in fact the nearer you get to London the more expensive it gets I think. Also, you were staying in the university weren't you? That usually helps! But I am glad you enjoyed yourself! (you need to try more of England too...and Ireland of course, next time!)

I'm back from holiday and had a wonderful time with my boyfriend. We have visited the Mill Museum in Gifhorn near Hannover. Tomorrow I'll post some pics - my new avatar is one of them.

I'm totally over the moon because i've finally done something I've wanted to do for years; got my eyes corrected with LASIK.
It cost a small fortune but now I can see clearer than ever before even with glasses. Its awesome. :D

So you did it Andy? Brilliant - hope you're as pleased with it as you hoped!

Cautiously happy myself - been accepted onto an MA course, now I've just got to work the details out, accept it, and the discover how to do academic work again... hope I haven't forgotten too much this last year!

My boyfriend will accompany me to my jubilee celebration :D - he asked his boss wether he can have 3 days extra holiday to visit me. And now it's finally fixed. I'm glad I don't have to go alone through this - I have to confess, I HATE those jubilees. Too much trouble for me.

And congrats to you, Grania! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, but I'm sure you won't have forgotten all of the last year at uni.

Still 3 weeks, then I'll see my boyfriend again! :D

EDIT: In December we'll get engaged - I'll ask my boyfriend on his Birthday, wether he wants to marry me. :D I can't tell you, how excited I am - and my boyfriend, too! He still doesn't know that I will ask him and not the other way round. Sorry for screaming, but:

I FEEL SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

On 12th December - his birthday - my boyfriend made me a very sweet proposal when we were in the Irish Pub, where I go often, when I have the time. Now we are "official" engaged - it feels a bit strange, but we are both happy! :D
