*begins to pass out* I have a phobia of blood and needles so when I had surgery I had blood taken five times in one month and they knew to always have Gatorade nearby and be ready to catch me. I don't know why I'm like that because if I didn't do opera I would become a forensic anthropoligist.
...I'm happy because I saw "Big Fish" last night again and it's so wonderful and because SCTV volume 2 comes out in November!!!!

Yeah, it is indeed safe to donate every 60 days or so here, so I am quite a regular donator! But of course I need to take some iron pills before and after donations :? (yuck!) to get my hemoglobin balance correct again. But as said, although they don't pay nothing for donators here, I am thankful to be a donator!

In fact, I too used to have a needle phobia, but thanks to the frequent blood donation, it has gone now!!

Must take my iron pill of today now...

My needle phobia has gotten worse since having blood taken frequently, but I'm happy you can do that Suvi. :D I have seizures frequently and had to get tested to see if I was anemic, but thankfully I'm not so it's probably just my brain. (*laughs hysterically*) But blood... *shudders*

Kind of freaky, nessie... ;)
So, blue was the original hair colour? What is it now? I thought of going blonde again, but no...

I'm on cloud nine! One of my professors talked to me after class. He told me I need to pursue my PhD. He spent a while with me, gave me some names of professors, and some instruction on what I need to do to get into the university and possibly teach while doing my doctoral studies. It was really encouraging. I'd been feeling like crap about things in general for about the last month. I've been thinking about it for a while and trying to find a direction to go...basically just searching trying to figure out what I should do with my life because things have been insane for the last few years. "Show Me The Way" really had a lot of significance to me at this time in my life and Maire's music in general. God knew I needed some encouragement and I believe provided me with some divine intervention. OK...i'm off my soapbox now, thanks for letting me share.

Thanks Garbo. I'm glad you had a great voice lesson. As far as the PhD, I'm looking at two options, Educational Administration or Curriculum & Instruction. I'm not sure which direction I want to go.

Home alone! Yay!

Postby cantilena91 » Sat Jul 31, 2004 6:59 pm

Just spending time home alone, what a great time! I've been singing, listening to music, eating sweets, and so on!

Sounds like fun Suvi. I was singing as well, but, uh, it was an aria for my mom.
I'm going to have a Tim Burton fest...

movie "you're a roman but your sword was forged in britan"
jonny " made in china"

Sounds like fun. You didn't say what his hair colour is. :D
I might do blonde highlights, but I don't know because I'm so fair skinned it might wash me out. I actually like my natural hair colour right now.
During The Village people screamed and stuff, but I didn't hear anyone talking. However during the twist I said very loudly "I knew it!" which got some laughs and made me mom say "Jeez, be quiet, eh!" ;)

M Night purposely made the trailer scary so as to throw you off from the real film and the twist. It has its moments, but more than anything it's about characters and plot, which are all good. The twist is horrible, but I would see it again just for the amazing film that it is as far as the story goes, etc. Plus the music is gorgeous. I already figured out how I would end it, but...
My mom and I are talking about dying our hair... I'm still... I like my hair colour, it's a good colour at the moment, very dark and goes well with my skin... it's just so tempting...
