Oooh cool topic idea!

Current addictions include (but are not limited too):

Nightwish music/videos
Stargate
Peppermint chewing gum
Chocoloate covered Altoids (my comfort food when I can't watch Stargate, odd as that may seem xD)

And then, of course, there are the everlasting addictions:

Moya's music (obviuosly xD!)
Hot chocolate with raspberry syrup
My computer
Writing stories
And, like Marlies, a new song every week (on average)
Don't give up now
Don't give up the bit of blue sky
You've got to go to find it
Where all the lights shine brighter

Pretty much all of my addictions have remained with me since I was very young so these are all from my childhood and still going strong

My significant other *cough* John Donne undone (and really all of the 17th century British poets, but JD holds my heart forever and always)

Horses, especially my horse. My mom told me that I was born on the back of a horse (because I'm so obsessed)

Chocolate and coffee (sometimes together; sometimes not together)

Sleeping

Itzhak Perlman

Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Paul Simon, Bonnie Raitt

All things related to Milton (because I can relate everything back to him)

People over 50 because they are so incredibly beautiful

North Dakota and the prairie

(I have more, but I'll post them later)

New ones:

Battlestar Galactica, especially Adama and Roslin (and holy cow! Mary McDonnell, who plays Roslin, played Stands with a Fist in Dances with Wolves, which is pretty much the best! I remember seeing that on the big screen and just loving it)

Romantic comedies

@Amy
wow, the cola sounds like a real addiction to me! =P I know someone who's so addicted to it that he has to go to the doctor every month and he got this 'anti-cola diet'. I wonder why people find it so addictive; I think it tastes disgusting :P

And Methica, cinnamon gum..that sounds weird xD. I can't miss my Ipod/mp3 thing as well. If I have to go to school without it, I get annoyed =P.

I just thought of some other addictions of mine:

- LP's and CD's (I buy way too many of both of them)
- Japan-related things
- Labello, really, I am not even aware of it when I put it on anymore =P
- Gum
- Right now Kate Bush's music
- Pugs, though I'm more obsessive about them, they're so cool!
- My new song addiction is a song by Wakeshima Kanon called 'Still Doll' http://youtube.com/watch?v=3Rkqcx6KfAA
I have more =P
The turn of the day, when all music fools come out to play until the drunk turn of night.

Midnight walks around cambridge, specially when the stars are out... I always think about that Jude the Obscure passage...

2. Chocolate
3. CHOCOLATE!!!
4. did I mention chocolate???

I actually do eat about one ounce of chocolate a day. Seriously!! 8) I must must MUST have my Hershey's Hugs  ...mmmmmm yummy. When my budget allows I also like to splurge on some Ghirardelli chocolate. Ah, the aroma... :D

What else?? Raspberry mocha (my favorite coffee drink) Image, chamomile tea,
cookie dough ice cream  ...hehe...and flowers. I looooove taking flower pics with my digital camera. I order all kinds of mail-order gardening catalogs just for the pics of flowers. Image
Oh yes, and smileys as well :P :!:

And in case it isn't already obvious...

I'm really addicted to two totally different things at the moment. First of all raisins.. don't ask my why :P I just like them a lot
Secondly: Seaweed.. well that has something to do with Japan I fear..

I'm also addicted to a couple of songs: My gift of Silence by Blackfield, sleepsong by secret garden and In the Garden by Dolores O'Riordan
and.. last but not least..I'm really addicted to watching tennis.. Roland Garros! ( I hope thought that I will stop raining tomorrow..)

I swear, raisins may be among the most addictive foods known to man. They were my food addiction before I switched to cran-raisins, which are still sort of in the same category.

Oh, and do you people in Europe honestly not have cinnamon flavored gum and toothpaste and all? We have it all over the place here! What about Altoids? Do you have those?

Also-
Riverdance
walking in the rain.
I was going to say that these are the two things that are keeping me sane in exam term, but then I realised that neither of them are very sane at all, and neither am I
