A bit of fun - a Forum anthem?

Hi all

Ness and me were having a bit of a laugh over what are some of Moya's best upbeat tunes this evening, and part of the argument for one or two was that they were rather like unofficial anthems for the forum. So, that led me to think - which song might end up as a forum anthem?
So, I said to myself, why not vote on it?

So, here is a selection of some of Moya's best upbeat tunes - which do you think should be an anthem for the forum?

It's ATW for me- definately a forum anthem if ever i heard one.
I did suggest to G she put in 'no one talks' for a bit of irony

I'd say 'Against the wind' too - but I'd pick any of those!!!

I'd have put that in Ness, but I ran out of poll options!!

Interesting topic, Grania! My choice would be "Against the wind". One question: "Anthem" means something like "Theme" or "Theme song", right? I'm sorry, I don't know that word...

Even though I voted for Against the Wind I do agree that Perfect Time is a good 'second' anthem!!

I doubted Many Faces and Tara too though...but the songs just don't have that 'oomph' that ATW has! Or the connecting thread in Perfect Time.... :D

Love,
Phantas

I voted for "An túll". It's not my favourite song, but it strongly reminds me of Moya's live music and it also sounds quite happy. I think that it fits the friendly atmosphere in this forum quite well. :)

Well, it is sort of that. I can't give you an exact definition, but most countries have a 'National Anthem' - for example England's is 'God Save the Queen' - any help? :)

The reason 'Many Faces' was in there was mostly the chorus - and the craic assosiated with it for some of us who went to Rotterdam
Tara is tara
