'Nienna' and I have our music exam tomorrow- the practical I've been complaining about so much in the unhappy hill! *gulp* But like you said, Ar Gemenerez, it'll all be over this time tomorrow!

I have an oral exam in Latin (for my BAC), and I'm quite afraid ! DON'T WANT TO DO IIIIT!!

An oral exam IN Latin?!! They don't expect you to speak the language, do they? Anyway, utinam tibi bene omnia eant! :D

By the way: I'll have to do a big presentation (also for Latin) on Friday and I absolutely don't want to do it :( It's such a boring topic and I've still got so much work to do  S.O.S.!

Ps: good luck to everyone here!

Lol ok Cherman what I wrote ("an oral IN Latin" )was quite odd !!! But anyway thank you for the little sentence in Latin !
I explain : first I had to translate 8 lines of a text from Latin to French, then I had to comment the whole text (in French) and then I had to translate 5 lines from French to Latin.

AND......I GOT A 19/20 !!!!!

I'm sure you'll be fine too ! Why do you say Latin is a boring topic?? I find it very interesting !

From French to Latin? Why's that? (I only ever translated Latin to Dutch, since Latin is a dead language...)

I'll probably hear this week if I get a permanent contract at the school I've been working for a year now. It depends on whether they've got enough money to pay me, so to say, because there are too many people working in the network of schools my school is part of. (*keeping my fingers crossed*)

From French to Latin ----> well I think it's nice to SPEAK Latin even if it's a dead language. It's dead because no one uses it everyday in the society but why not trying at school? I find it interesting even if it's not very useful for the everyday life

I've also seen a Hungarian site one day where you could read the news in Latin everyday. That was great !

And I hope you'll get this permanent contract !
