Thanks Suvi - toast :) - Pakistan, just for a change.
I found a list of IP addresses online assigned to Pakistan. I'm going to incorporate that entire list into the ban filter as soon as I get the chance to block the entire country.
Not a single genuine registration EVER comes from Pakistan.

If it's make in Pakistan then it probably shouldn't be called a harp anyway.
A bit like producing sparkling wine which doesn't come from the Champagne region of France and calling it Champagne - it's not allowed.
A Paksichord perhaps?? LOL

Toasted!

I started work on a script last night to allow me to block all registrations from any given countries.
The idea is to utilise the forum's own banlist so I don't have to modify the forum software at all.
It won't be perfect, but it will help I think.

My first harp was one of those - not great, true, but not bad for what she is. Fine to start on...
..that said, I now play a Salvi Donegal (from Italy) - same as Moya and Cormac's, and there is no comparrison!

I owe G for learning of a cheap cross-strung harp. Those Pakistan harps do serve a useful purpose to those who have it in them to play. Go G, go!

Always good to hear, but in the meantime NO MORE SPAMMERS FROM PAKISTAN!!!! Knocked up a little script last night to block the spamming domains, and get up this morning and come here to NOT find another request to pop one into the toaster!!

YAY!!!!!!! Long may this continue!

May all the spammers have their passwords files encrypted with Cryptolocker :)

Thanks both - have just deleted it. Didn't even bother checking to see if it was from Pakistan, as it was so blatant.
Been away for a week, hence the delay!
