Christmas tour 09

Well folks tickets are already on sale for the German Christmas tour 09 from this website !

One negative point about the whole thing is that they are first come first served :( ...meaning it doesnt matter if you buy them now or a few days before the show there is no reserved seats, you will have to sleep in front of the venue to sit up front ! (too bad for us Grania ! o  )

I've set my eyes on four gigs ; Braunschweig the 29th , Berlin the 30th, Chemnitz the 2nd and Dresden the 3rd

Should be fun ! hope to meet some of you.

I'm considering the idea of Berlin, as it's easy enough to get to from this part of the world. The only problem is that I'll only just have come back from holiday a couple of weeks before the concert, so getting a few more days off work could be tricky... We'll have to see.

To be honest, I'm more likely to head off to one of the Dutch concerts that are planned for next Spring, but who knows - the memories of last year's Christmas concerts might become to much to resist!

Enjoy it if you do go Pierre. If you enjoyed the UK concerts in March, then you're in for a real treat! :)

Well David i got tx for the first two gigs of the tour; Buchholz and Verden. I decided to go there instead because they were the only gigs with reserved seats (at least the first part of the tour).

And of course they are front row seats

The rest (Berlin, Braunschweig and maybe a couple more i might attend) are all first come first served.

No need to rush buying a ticket.

I've just had a proper look, Pierre, and I don't think I'm going to be able to make any of them! :( The flights from here aren't as helpful as I thought, so on reflection, I think I'm probably asking a bit too much of myself - especially with a wheelchair in tow! I'm going to aim to get to the Netherlands next year instead.

Enjoy the concerts. I went to the last concert of the tour last year, and it was an incredible experience!

That's a song called 'a mhuirnin o', from Clannad's album Landmarks. It's one of my favourites! Here it is, with very odd pictures...
