Moya Brennan German X-mas Tour 2009

Postby Banba Óir » Fri Apr 24, 2009 10:14 am

Moya Brennan and her band will tour Germany from 27 November - 13 December 2009. At the moment, their German promoter ASS Concerts is making preparations. Given the time of the year it looks like the tour will be a Christmas tour like last year. Exact dates and venues are unkown yet, but will become available later.

regards

A tour in Germany would be fantastic! I like her Christmas concerts very much and I will definitely go to one if nothing terribly important keeps me from doing that. :)

I'm a bit disappointed that she won't do concerts in the Ruhrgebiet again. Most of the towns that were chosen for the concerts seem very suitable but there will also be concerts in towns that are so small that I wonder where the audience should come from.
Maybe I can go to the concert in Aachen. I haven't been to that city, yet, but I heard that it's a nice one. :D

hey guys!

can’t wait for the tickets to go on sale at eventim.de!

I’ll definitely go to the gig in ludwigsburg and I’d love to see her in baden (switzerland) too… we’ll see…

on the one hand I’m really glad she’s touring germany again (the last time I saw our lady in munich seems like ages ago  ) but on the other hand I feel quite sad that it’s only one gig in Switzerland and none in Austria. :(

thinking of moya performing in Austria immediately brings a very special venue to my mind.

in bregenz at the lake constance (actually quite close to the place where I live) we have a wonderful library that would IMHO perfectly fit to our lady’s music. the so called vorarlberger landesbibliothek.

the building is in fact a monastery that was turned into a library and small concerts were played there every now and then. I’ve spent quite a lot of time there during my studies and seeing moya perform there would be like a dream come true…

I’ve uploaded some pics of this beautiful building, have a look and tell me what you think…

hey!
haven't been here for awhile again, had a lot to do.
but fortunately Facebook works, so i heard from the concert in switzerland!
if it stays on the calender, i'll go if nothing goes wrong.

Susann,

Do you have a seat number or this is a "first come first served" thing ?
