Moya and Nightwish

Hi there! :P

I don´t how many people in here know the band Nightwish
- sure there are a few...

Perhaps someone was also on a Nightwish-concert and heard it too.
The members of Nightwish are H. Zimmer-fans so before they got on stage they played a part of the King Arthur Soundtrack.
I don´t know exactly which song it was but I was sure to hear Moya in it...!

Then I thought I´d love to see Moya and Tarja Turunen sing together! :D
Wouldn´t it be fun... or is it a very strange idea?!

Hi Kati Eve,

at first welcome to Moya's forum! :D :D I don't know anything about Nightwish (I've only the single "Nemo" at home), but I think a duet between Moya and Tarja Turunen would be GREAT! :D I would like to hear it if it comes out.

Why not...

...if the background instrumentation is not too strong (something like on "Once" album would do, not too many electric guitars!!) so that Moya's & Tarja's voices would be audible! Something semi-acoustic??

Suvi (from the land of Nightwish, Finland)

Hey there Kati_Eve and welcome to the forum!
I absolutely LOVE Nightwish and it would be cool to hear Tarja and Moya together :D I'm not sure how that would sound, though. Or which song they should sing, but I'm sure it would sound good. No matter which song they sing :)

Hey Kati_Eve,

there's a duet out between Martin Kesici and Tarja Turunen. The song is called "Leaving you for me" and it's GREAT! Have you already heard that song?

ahem...I've voted "NO"...

first of all these are two totally different music "scenes" & styles...and personally I don't see them fit well together, both musically AS WELL AS vocally. Moya's and Tarja's voices sound ... incompatible... to me. Sorry.

i voted love to hear it :D because they both have such a different style of music and voices, and it would be nice if they sang together, because it's something new ^^

why not? I found their voices quite good to duet (they are enough different but not collide). I believe if somebody could made a suitable music (mix the finnish folk with irish and add some classical intruments) it will be nice song :)

We need to remember there are two different worlds now. There is Tarja Turunen, and there is Nightwish.
Tarja is no longer with Nightwish, so if there is a song with Moya, you won't hear Tarja on it.

Moya in duet with Within Temptation sounds like a better idea to me ;-)

My photo was taken after the concert in Arnhem last april. I am trying hard to remember if I saw Paul there, but I'm not sure. Maybe he remembers me? ;-) I was there with 4 friends.
