Is the cover the same on the new edition of the CD or has it changed?

Is someone able to scan the cover and post it so I can see it?? That would be great if you can.

Oh boy....where to start????!!!! :P I'll just give an outline here, otherwise it might take a while.....!!!

We met up in Leo's on the Friday, where Moya and Cormac gave us an outline of the weekend.

On Saturday, we started off splitting into groups for singing (led by Moya) and harps (with Cormac) to learn our respective parts. We then came back together to put it into practice, before retiring to Leo's for one of their light meals! Later in the evening, Voices & Harps was officially launched by Donal Lunny, and various people took to the stage (including the entire Jarvis family ) for a session that lasted until the early hours.

On Sunday it was back to the Ionad Naomh Pádraig (the community centre round the corner from the Brennan's house) for more sessions with Moya and Cormac, before our performance in the evening (pics are posted in the members only section of the forum).

Anyway, that's just for starters - G will probably fill some of the gaps when she comes back later this week! :D

It looks like you had a great time Dave, but I didn't expect anything else to be honest.

Thanks for posting your story Dave! I am also not surprised that you had a great time :D ! It sounds really great! Your pictures are great too. On Ed's page there is also a link to a lot of pictures and a video!

Dave, you mentioned something about your singing talent in an earlier post. Did the workshop improve your singing  ? If so, I think I will have to try and go to a next workshop (if there will be one :) )!

Love,

Yvonne

Yes, that comment came back to "bite me" in the end, Yvonne.... :P Within 5 minutes of starting the first workshop, Moya had bashed me over the head with some papers she was holding, and said "you didn't tell me you could sing that well", and (being the only other male voice) ended up doing most of the harmonies with Cormac!:lol::lol:

So it appears that I'm officially a better singer than I've given myself credit for...who am I to argue with Moya's assessment???

(Oh, and there are plans to do the workshops again next year - but you'll be in a queue with the 10 who went this year to sign up!!!! :P)
