mmh, Moya's is of course much much better but still I think he is very brave. And I do think that he has a great voice just a bit shaky, maybe he is too nervous or just didn't have enough practice. With a bit of singing lesson I can imagine he would get a better voice.
All in all I really can imagine this song being sung by someone with a really really deep voice. (But of course as I said before, noone can compete with Moya on this song :))

Ofcourse, Moya's is way better... But I have to say, he has a nice voice, and he sings it quite well...
His "alone" sounds a bit odd, but still, I kinda like it, :P

He must be a Moya fan. I have to admire his courage to sing in front of a camera and perform such an emotional song.

One cannot expect that this boy's recording sounds like Moya's, since he is much younger, a less experienced singer and the video is just an amateur recording. Considering this, he has done a nice a job. I must admit that his version of "Black night" does not sound worse to me than the Celtic Woman version of "Orinoco Flow".
Cover versions often sound a bit odd no matter whether they are performed by professional or amateur singers. This boy doesn't sing perfectly, but he seems to have some talent. I probably couldn't sing it better.

Blimey, I wouldn't like to stand up and sing in front of you lot!! I think this fella is brilliant- of course he isnt moya, but there's only one moya, and I think he has real guts to sit in front of a camera and record this. Not only that, but he has a beautiful voice!! He's also trying to sink a pre-recording with a vocal and playing the keyboard at the same time- that's HARD! and he doent get out of time very remarkably at any stage. If I could do what he's done in recording that, I would be a happy woman. I like it!!

I thought that, for his age and level of experience, he was good. Now, I can be very critical of singers, and often am. In fact one person whose singing I really don't like who has been in the spotlight recently is Paul Potts. Call me crazy, but I just don't see what Britain saw in him! But back to this kid - for not being a professional singer, he's good. And he's MUCH better at piano than I am!

I don't find it "awful"...
Like you say Moya is better, of course, but his voice is OK and he's not a singer ! I wouldn't say I LOOOOVe it, but yeah, I like it ! It's interesting to hear this song sung by a boy !

I would have to say no. This is my favorite song from Signature and Moya sings it with so much feeling..there is nobody that could equal up to that.
