Moya's still good though. I love them all. Including Enya.

I love the song Of This Land. It is my favorite Clannad song!!

I discovered Clannad before I discovered Moya - I mean, I knew I just loved the female vocalist.

So when I started listening to Moya, it was because of Clannad, but I find myself liking her solo work so much. The music of Clannad is good but it doesn't move me as deeply as many of Moya's songs.

Choice

Postby Calogero » Wed Jul 22, 2009 10:52 am

I was wondering . . . . if you could only choose between Clannad or Moya as a solo artist, which would it be?

Máire Brennan... definitely

I like Clannad's music, but I need more life & faith challenging lyrics, therefore, my choice goes to Moya.

This was a hard decision for me to make. I love them both but I listen to Moya more so I chose her.

As everyone else has said, it's too hard a question! But as has already been said, at least with Clannad you get Moya's voice along with the others

I would have to say Maire simply because I am more familiar with her solo works.

I can't believe that I never voted here, but Clannad has come out on top. It's a very close call but Moya is part of the band,I can't imagine the ' boys' without her. :)

Can't believe I never voted either...I chose Clannad, because I do listen to them more than to Moya's solo work, but it really is a close call. It would have been fairer if there had been a "can't decide" option (but then most people would probably have taken that one  )

I dont think i can answer that.

Clannad without Moya is not really Clannad and Moya without Clannad is not Clannad... its another thing.

Two different pleasures

i voted for moya for a simply reason, i think: i knew her music before i knew clannad's, so her music has something deeply special for me.
...hope all you clannad-fans can comprehend my decision
