Wow, well done, methica- i'd never have got that! Just to prove my ignorance- who was the poet who wrote it?? I dont know why but I always assumed that it was another 'anon' as so many traditional songs seem to be. :oops:

That was the wildest guess ever!! I was listening to my Clanad In Concert CD, that I bought at the concert so I thought that one, becuase in the booklet was a name I didn´t know..ROFL..:P

It's by W.B. Yeats. I must say that I like his poems quite a lot. I bought a whole book of them when I was in Ireland. :)
