Hi all :)

OK, I had this idea the other day, but I'm not sure how well it will work - let's just give it a try shall we?! :D

The idea is for us to make up one of the famous MoyaForum stories using quotes from the songs of the Brennan/Duggan clan, and any traditional songs as well :D It doesn't have to be entirely in quotes of course, but you need to meld something into it somewhere - make sense?

Let me see if I can start...

The mist had cleared from Muckish Hill, and the woman stood alone on the bridge of tears looking up the road towards the mountains, she was waiting for someone, or something...but what was it?

Off you go!! :D

....screeched to a halt and out jumped Andy muttering something about fuel prices and patchwork tarmac roads.

"Ach well while i'm here I might as well admire the scenery, i'm heading for the green fields of Gweedore ya see"

"That car seems to get lousy fual mileage driving against the wind, ah well should be better on the way back"

Andy hopped bank in the car and sped off past Muckish towards the Green fields and the wreck at Bunbeg. 8)

...who asked him, "could you tell us how to get on the road to Lisdoonvarna?"

Andy answered, "I could, but from where I stand, it could be quite a struggle."

At that moment a pair of pretty maids came walking along through the morning dew. They had been for a stroll around old Bunbeg and were now going down along the shore, they stopped to try and see if they could assist.
"Firstly you need to go to the other side of..."

Utterly confused now, the two sisters looked at each other, when Andy said: "I've got a notion!" He insisted the two sisters would jump in the seat next to him and...

Then they drove past some Landmarks and picked up a Lish young buy-a-broom. She kindly then invited us to go a little way, "Yes" was the answer to her we did say.

They travelled up and down the Isle of Ireland, stood by the hill of Tara, visited Dublin's fair city (where andy remarked that the girls were very pretty) and eventually ended up in a place among the stones...

But they were up against the wind. And all you could hear was the beating heart(s) for it was a bit of a struggle to get up that hill of tara and collect all those cockles and mussels, but hence their surprise when they discovered the talking dulaman!

 This is getting scary

They stood by the hill of Tara and watched the two horizons burn, singing loudly as they did so, however the one of the pretty maids had to turn to Andy and ask him to...
"Tell me now what you see!"

"Dulaman na binne bui," it said over and over.

One of the two sisters turned to the other and said, "I've been all the way from the Poison Glen to Loch na Cailli, and I've never heard anything like this!"

Time to try this again....

For a long time the members of this story had been left standing in cold blue water. There were many roads they could travel, and many they had travelled, but it was time to clear the Purple Haze and get on with things....
