Watching 'Smallville' 8) I am suuuuch a geek
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

I'm watching the "Up the long ladder"-episode of "Star Trek - The next generation". I like this series very much, especially because it is often about ethic, social and political problems. Star Trek makes me think a lot. :)

I once saw a TV documentary in which it was reported that the original Star Trek creator, Gene Roddenberry, said that this is why he created the series. He could talk about all sorts of things such as ethnic cleansing, eugenics, the Vietnam War, and other socio-political issues of his day using the unoffensive medium of sci-fi.

I enjoy it (although I haven't seen any Star Trek for ages now) both because it does make you think, and also because of the (pseudo)science :)
